Simon Casciano, Lic Ac, MBAcC, was the top graduate of his year and graduated with a first class science degree from The International College of Oriental Medicine in 2011. He continues to work with colleagues and attend workshops worldwide for ongoing professional development and research. Simon is also a qualified Swedish Massage Practitioner.

Simon uses the old holistic tradition of Classical Stems and Branches Acupuncture – a very gentle and empathic methodology which as well as dealing with current complaints, has the added benefit of the prevention of illness as its ultimate goal. He is also trained and experienced in the diagnosis and treatment of Mind-Body conditions, namely symptoms primarily related to, or caused by, physical or psychological stress. Chronic and even acute pain being very common in this respect.

A treatment from Simon can also be a unique experience for some clients owing to his work in earlier years as a professional pianist and singer giving him the facility to play piano for his patients, when appropriate (and only if requested), to help them further relax during treatment. This has proved quite popular.

Simon’s expertise and experience allows him to offer support to cancer patients and he is a volunteer acupuncturist at the ‘MacMillan’ Cancer Support Centres in Crawley and East Grinstead Hospitals in West Sussex.

Simon runs two clinics – The Anderida Practice in Forest Row and another clinic in Haywards Heath.
